Set trusses without renting a crane. The IA-TB-100T slides onto the forks you already own, pins to the reach you need, and puts beams and long awkward loads where they go, out to 16 ft. To our knowledge, no other 16 ft truss boom telescopes down to fit in a pickup bed.

Built for contractors setting roof trusses and material beyond the forks, and for equipment dealers and rental fleets that need an attachment built for high-cycle industrial use.

Engineered different.

The IA-TB-100T was designed from the start as a three-section truss boom, and the choices show up on the jobsite.

  • Pins right the first time. Position marks are laser-cut into the steel, not painted on or stuck on, so you read the mark and pin it without guessing.
  • A coating that won't chip or rust. Finished in Plascoat, a thick thermoplastic coating that flexes with the steel instead of chipping and cracking like ordinary paint, so it won't rust out through a hard rental season.
  • Keeps your machine's lifting power. The rear lug sits in close, just 24 inches out, so your forklift or telehandler keeps more of its rated capacity for the heavy picks. The Hub's Load Calculator gives you the exact safe load for your machine.

Why operators run it

  • Lifts up to 10,000 lb. That is at the rear lug with the boom retracted. At the full 16 ft tip it lifts 2,000 lb.
  • Six working positions. Four pinned tip positions and two fixed lift lugs, so you set the reach to the pick.
  • Fits standard forklift and telehandler forks. Fixed pockets, 30 in center to center, the same pockets as the IA-JB-60T jib boom.
  • Packs down to 8 ft. Hauls in a full-size 8 ft pickup bed with the tailgate closed, or stores on a rack shelf between jobs.
  • Every lift point is marked with its rating. The load chart rides on the boom, not in a drawer.
  • A mobile support app on every unit. Scan the QR label and the IA Technical Hub opens on your phone: the manual, setup videos, an AI assistant any hour, and a load calculator that gives the safe working load for your machine and position.

Engineered and built in Post Falls, Idaho

Every truss boom is engineered and fabricated in-house by the IRON Attach team. Made in the USA from US steel with continuous welds. Engineered and load-tested to the lifting-safety codes, and the design was proof tested at 125 percent, so it holds up under high-cycle use and keeps your crew safe. Need something this boom does not do? We also build the IA-JB-60T jib boom, 12 ft of reach for lighter, closer work. And if neither boom fits your job, we build custom attachments for forklifts, telehandlers, and skid steers, engineered, built, and load-tested like everything else we sell. Tell us the machine, the job, and the load.
